Careers
Paradise Pool And Spa TX hires pool service technicians out of our Flower Mound shop. The job is route work: test before dose, photo before leaving, text the arrival window, and never add an extra without a yes. A CPO study path is expected for anyone touching commercial water. Call (945) 300-4080.
The job
Pool service technician, running a route out of the shop at 2100 Riverplace Dr in Flower Mound. Residential weekly stops, with commercial water on some routes.
A day is a list of pools on FM 2499 and FM 1171 and the towns off them. Skim, brush, vacuum where the pool needs it, empty the baskets, test the water, dose to the written plan, walk the equipment pad, send the report, drive to the next one.
It is outdoors, on your feet, in a North Texas August. That should be said plainly here rather than discovered in week two. The people who last are the ones who like working alone, finishing a list, and leaving something visibly better than they found it.
The standards, and they do not bend
Test before dose. The reading comes first and it gets written down. Nobody pours from habit on this route.
Photo before you leave. The report goes out from the driveway rather than from the couch that evening, and it goes out when the news is bad too.
Text the window. If you are running late, the customer hears it from you before they start wondering. And no extra without a yes: anything outside the written plan gets texted with the dollar amount and waits for approval. Nobody here has the authority to surprise a customer on an invoice.
The satisfaction guarantee page is the customer facing version of those same four rules. It is worth reading before you apply, because it is what you would be signing up to hold.
The CPO study path
Anyone who touches commercial water carries the Certified Pool Operator certification. If you do not have it yet, you run residential routes under a certified lead and study for it.
The certification is not decoration on a truck door. It is the vocabulary and the math a health inspector uses, and it is what makes a log defensible when somebody official asks for it. The CPO certified crews page explains what it actually governs.
Experience helps and is not required. Somebody careful, punctual and willing to write things down is easier to train than somebody who has been guessing at pools for ten years.
How to apply
Call (945) 300-4080 or send a note through the contact page. Tell us where you live, whether you have a clean driving record, and anything you have done that involved a route, a checklist or equipment.
We do not post salary figures, benefit lists or headcount on this page. Those are conversations to have honestly with a real person rather than numbers written on a website to attract applications.
If it looks like a fit, you spend a day riding a route before anything gets decided, so both sides know exactly what they are agreeing to.
Common questions
Do I need to be CPO certified already?
No. It is required for anyone working commercial water. If you do not have it, you run residential routes under a certified lead while you study for it.
What is the hardest part of the job?
August. The pools are demanding, the days are long and the truck is hot. The second hardest part is discipline on the boring weeks, because the standards do not relax when nothing is going wrong.
