A pre purchase pool inspection is a scheduled visit that produces a written punch list covering water, equipment pad, covers, lights, and drain safety. Buyers, sellers and listing agents all use it. The inspection fee credits toward a clean within a set window if you close.

Buying the house also means buying the equipment pad. Better to find the leak now, while it is still someone else problem to price.
