Reviews

Paradise Pool And Spa TX reviews live on Yelp and Google, where you can read them in full instead of taking a number on our word for it. We reply to every review within 48 hours, including one star reviews, and we ask for a review only after a visible win. Call (945) 300-4080.

Where our reviews actually live

On Yelp and on Google. Both are public, both sit outside our control, and both show you the bad reviews next to the good ones without us picking which ones appear.

We do not run a wall of testimonials on this site with first names and initials attached. Anybody can type those in an afternoon. A platform that timestamps a review and shows the reviewer profile is worth more than a hundred quotes we selected ourselves.

If you want a real picture of any pool company, read the three star reviews first. Five stars tell you the pool got cleaned. Three stars tell you what happens when something goes wrong, which is the thing you are actually buying.

We reply to every review, including the one star ones

Every review gets a reply within 48 hours. Not only the flattering ones, and not only the ones that are easy to answer.

The reply to a bad review is not an argument. It is a name, a phone number and an offer to fix it offline. Nobody has ever been persuaded by a company publicly explaining why a customer was wrong, and the attempt tells every future reader exactly what a complaint gets you here.

When the complaint is fair, the reply says so. A missed visit or an extra charge that appeared without approval falls under the satisfaction guarantee, and it gets resolved as a make right visit or a credit rather than as a well written paragraph.

When we ask for a review, and when we do not

We ask after a visible win. A green pool that came back. A pump that runs quiet again. A heater working the week before a cold snap. Something you can see from the deck without being told to look.

The ask is specific, and it names the city and the job. A review that says green to clean in Highland Village or heater repair in Southlake is genuinely useful to the next person deciding, because it says what happened and where it happened.

We do not ask on the first weekly stop, because nothing has been proven yet. We do not offer a discount for a review, because paid praise is not information. And we do not ask twice.

Why there is no star rating marked up on this site

You will not find an aggregate rating badge anywhere on this website, and that is a deliberate choice rather than an oversight.

A star average and a review count printed on a company page is a claim about a company, made by that company. You cannot verify it while you are standing there, and any business is free to type whatever number it likes. Search engines have spent years penalizing that kind of self reported rating markup for exactly this reason.

It is also the wrong shape of proof. An unverifiable count is precisely the kind of claim that erodes trust in a trade where trust is most of what you are buying. The verifiable version is two clicks away on Yelp and Google, where the number belongs to them instead of to us.

The same rule runs through this whole site. We publish honest price bands instead of teaser prices, and we hold license and insurance specifics as marked placeholders until the certificates are in hand rather than typing values nobody can check.

What to read for in any pool company reviews

Look for reviews that name a specific job and a specific town rather than adjectives. Great service is not information. Cleared a green pool in Trophy Club across two visits is.

Look at the replies as hard as you look at the reviews. A company that answers criticism with a phone number is a different company from one that answers with a defense, and the reply is written by the business rather than curated by it.

Look for a pattern rather than an incident. Every pool company on earth has a customer who had a bad month in August. Ten people describing the same failure is the signal worth acting on.

If your review would be a bad one, call first

Not to talk you out of writing it. Because a review takes a week to work through and a phone call takes an afternoon, and most of what makes people angry in this trade is fixable the same day.

A missed window, a stop that did not match the written plan, an extra you never approved. All three have a defined answer on the satisfaction guarantee page, and the answer is a make right visit or a credit decided the same day you tell us.

Then write whatever you want. The review is yours and it always was. The number is (945) 300-4080.

Common questions

Why do you not show a star rating on this page?

Because a rating a company prints about itself cannot be verified by the person reading it, and unverifiable claims are what erode trust. The real ratings live on Yelp and Google where the count is not ours to type.

Do you remove or hide bad reviews?

We could not even if we wanted to. Those platforms are not ours. What we do is reply within 48 hours with a name and a phone number and try to fix the thing offline.

Will you offer me something for a review?

No. A review that was bought is worth nothing to the next customer reading it, and it would make every other review on the page worth less too.
